Secondly, this summer, we will also be working alongside Australian business Do Good Labs, who create delicious Aussie snacks, including the Artisian Brekky Bars that are available now at all ALDI stores for $1.99. ALDI and Do Good Labs together will donate 20c of each product sold to Camp Quality, with an aligned goal to reach $60,000 over the summer. This project provides an opportunity to offer some support to the many families impacted by cancer.
Family business, Do Good Labs is a major supplier of snacks to Virgin Australia. With most flights grounded over recent months due to the impacts of COVID-19, ALDI Australia has stepped in to help the family business. Founders, the Rifkin brothers are very grateful for the opportunity that ALDI have given them at a time when their airline business was reduced significantly.
Do Good Labs co-founder David Rifkin said: “This opportunity provides a vehicle for the country to enjoy your morning coffee and artisan brekky bar while knowing that you’re directly helping children who are going through a tough time. We believe in the power of acts of kindness and knowing that the bars can hopefully help support rest & relaxation activities for thousands, from the stresses of their daily lives is a blessing.”
These initiatives follow the announcement of ALDI’s three year partnership with Camp Quality, committing to $1.5 million in donations over the three year period and aiming to raise additional funds via a range of fundraising initiatives to support children impacted by cancer.
